Role Headline

  • To ensure profitable growth within Innomotics, Mobile Mining business.

Responsibilities of the Role

  •  Provide information via CRM for forecasts and planning.
  •  Prepare and negotiate proposals in cooperation with other involved professionals and management
  •  May act as point of contact in commercial matters
  •  Complete sales and revenue related key reporting
  •  Contribute to the development of an After Sales Service that is focused on OEM
  •  Contribute to the development of and effective and efficient processes with Repair Partners 
  •  Achieving high levels of customer satisfaction through highly responsive and professional service
  •  Manage relationship with internal business partners and factories
  •  Ensuring Spares availability and issuing of spares to Service Providers
  •  Managing spares supply chain with internal and external suppliers
  •  Responsible for stock management and forecasting

Develop Customer Base

  •  Ensure direct relationships between Siemens and key OEM’s and End Users
  •  Customer Development Plan figures are captured annually and monitored quarterly
  •  OEM and Partner base developed in line with target setting agreements
  •  Relationship building and networking meets departmental and customer requirements (customer support etc.)
  •  Ensure that the Siemens organization has visibility of the network of key contacts and relationships between each OEM or Partner and its major end customers

Customer Support

  •  Management of client queries and quotation requests as per departmental SOP and SLA
  •  Resolution of queries and offer preparation time meets OEM and Partner’s expectations, within business parameters and agreed KPI’s

Reporting

  •  Siemens CRM system is updated/managed with EPCM, OEM and Partner information, projects and market opportunities as per departmental requirements
  •  All customer visits are recorded in weekly sales report
  •  Ongoing report back of activities of local competitors
  •  Reports are timeous, complete and accurate

Administration

  •  Completes relevant documentation (budgets, forecasts, quotation reports, visit reports, handovers) as per departmental requirements
  •  Ongoing follow up on orders and receivables.
  •  Adherence to company processes (LOA, Signatures etc.

Qualifications and Experience

  •  Relevant tertiary Degree or Diploma, preferably an Engineering qualification or similar
  •  Technical proficiency in a customer service environment
  •  Knowledge of Traction Motors and electrical systems on Diesel-electric Haul Trucks
  •  Understand Siemens policies and processes in order to provide a specific service to the business (Advantageous)

Attributes and Skills

  •  Demonstrate understanding of value-added to the EPCM, OEM and Partner
  •  Uses consultative selling techniques to maintain EPCM, OEM and Repair Partner relationships.
