Requirements
Minimum Bursary Requirements
- A Ph.D. degree (obtained within the last 5 years) in Agricultural Sciences or a closely related field.
- Authored or co-authored a minimum of two peer-review scientific publications in a related field.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a research team.
Terms
- Value: R350,000 per annum (taxable stipend).
- Conduct research projects under the supervision of ARC scientists.
- Contribute to scientific publications, presentations, and technology transfer activities.
- Participate in capacity development initiatives, including mentoring postgraduate students.
- Engage in collaborative projects aligned with ARC-VIMP research priorities.
