Post Level 1 Lecturer (Temporary) – Engineering Studies – Boksburg Campus needed at Ekurhuleni West TVET College

Educational Requirement:

• A National Senior Certificate (Matric);
• National Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering;
• TVET Education Lecturing Qualification.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of zero to two (0-2) year’s experience in TVET sector;
• Registered with South African Council for Educators (SACE);
• Moderator and Assessor certificate will be an added advantage;
• Driver’s licence will be an added advantage.

Post Description:

• Introduction to Information Systems L2;
• Introduction to Systems Development L2;
• Electronics L2;
• Computer Hardware and Software L3;
• Principles of Computer Programming L3;
• Systems Analysis and Design L3-L4;
• Data Communication and networking L4.

Duties:

• Engage in learning/facilitation as per workload;
• Assess and record the performance of students;
• Manage a learning program, develop policy for the program;
• Provide guidance on the latest developments on approaches to the program.
