Postdoctoral Researcher – Radiation and Reactor Theory needed at NECSA

Minimum Requirements:

1. The candidate should hold a PhD in Nuclear Engineering, Nuclear Physics, Applied Mathematics or Operations Research obtained within the past five years. The candidate should not be older than 45 years at the time of application.
2. Experience in developing and implementing numerical algorithms, applying optimization, Machine Learning and data science methods, Python programming skills as well as experience of using computational codes utilized in Nuclear Engineering (MCNP, Serpent, SCALE, etc.), would be an advantage.
3. Minimum of one accepted publication in the last five years with additional publications an added advantage. Publications should be in the area of Nuclear Engineering, Nuclear Physics, Applied Mathematics or Operations Research.
4. Good English communication skills, both oral and written, are a prerequisite.
