Job Purpose    

  • Performs administrative applications related to the provision of clerical, secretarial/telephonist and reception service, processing/updating information, issuing completing and submitting procedural forms, communicating, and establishing the nature of enquiries/queries and forwarding for attention and attending to specific office support applications.

Key Responsibility Areas    

  • Attends to application of specific administrative applications/ procedures which is inclusive of issuing forms for completion, conducting stock counts and maintaining the technical library.
  • Performs specific tasks/ activities associated with the provision of a secretarial service to the department.
  • Performs a receptionist/ telephonist function and call centre applications for the department.
  • Processes transactional information on specific computerized applications and completes forms, schedules, and documents.
  • Performs driving duties.

Essential Requirements

  • Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent and an Administrative certificate.
  • 3 Years relevant experience.
