Description
- Conduct basic first line fault finding.
- Applies Standard Operating Procedures
- Understand equipment failure modes and defect identification and reporting.
- Demonstrate understanding of how equipment functions.
- Quality assurance of the product.
- Carry out plant inspections and take logs.
- Report all at risk behaviours and unsafe conditions to the SPC/Process Artisan and/or Foreman.
- Sampling as per schedules.
- Maintain required housekeeping standard.
Requirements
- Driver’s licenses.
- Prepared to work shifts and to change shift on a short notice.
- Prepared to do shift cover and work overtime during day-off’s including weekends.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 or N3 with English, Maths and Science.
- Process Controller Grade 2 : Must have a NQF Level 2 Occupational/Trade Certificate.
Specific experience required
- Experience in a production environment.
- Related exposure on a chemical plant and experience as a Process Controller would be an advantage.
