WHAT YOU WILL ENJOY DOING

  • Lead the area of EBM and be responsible for the production team.
  • Ensure that all production related processes are running efficiently and according to the defined framework.
  • Coordinate and monitor data capturing, ensure daily controls and deviation analysis to further improve are being carried out as per procedures.
  • Ensure procedures are in place for all activities carried out in production.
  • Ensure efficient shift hand-over.
  • Ensure a minimum cost of production, through the rationalization of materials, labor, overtime and compliance with the schedules of the Production Planning and Control area.
  • Daily Management System and Improvements:
  • Execute daily management system in your department and contribute to plants’ DMS on daily/weekly/monthly level.
  • Establish abnormality management and work in time on deficiencies to achieve highest results
  • Ensure proper execution of improvement measures and their sustainability.
  • Develop production schedules:
  • Plans, directs and assigns duties of manufacturing personnel.
  • Authorizes overtime/holidays etc., as necessary, to meet production goals in cooperation with the line manager.
  • Recruitment of new employees under support of HR and execute proper onboarding.
  • Conduct / participate in problem solving for reoccurring issues or customer complaints. Handle customer complaints in conjunction with QA.
  • Work on permanent improvement of processes, quality standards and operational excellence to guarantee an efficient usage of our resources.
  • Ensures all employees understand and follow company policies and procedures.
  • Cooperate with related departments before, during and beyond your processes of responsibility (with Maintenance, Quality, Planning/Warehouse and Sales)
  • Maintaining support of production machines and equipment and enable staff for autonomous maintenance.

WHAT MAKES YOU GREAT

  • Bachelor/Master or Diploma degree with clear affinity to operations
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an international manufacturing company, preferably in plastic packaging as well as technical background
  • Experience in process and product control (Green/Black belt in Six Sigma is a plus)
  • Experience in food or pharma production. Experience in applying QA tools and techniques.
  • Training and facilitation skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills in English and local language
