Manage the production team.

Oversee and coordinate daily production:

  • Lead the area of IM PET and be responsible for the production team.
  • Ensure that all production-related processes are running efficiently and according to the defined framework.
  • Coordinate and monitor data capturing, ensure daily controls and deviation analysis to further improve are being carried out as per procedures.

Daily Management System and Improvements

  • Execute daily management system in your department and contribute to plants’ DMS on a daily/weekly/monthly level
  • Establish abnormality management and work in time on deficiencies to achieve the highest results

Develop production schedules

  • Plans directs and assigns duties of manufacturing personnel
  • Authorizes overtime/holidays etc., as necessary, meet production goals in cooperation with the line manager

Be a reliable sparring partner internally and for the customer

  • Cooperate with related departments before, during and beyond your processes of responsibility (with Maintenance, Quality, Planning/Warehouse and Sales)
  • Maintaining support for production machines and equipment and enabling staff to perform autonomous maintenance
  • Conduct/participate in problem-solving for recurring issues or customer complaints. Handle customer complaints in conjunction with QA

Machine, production equipment setup and new articles:

  • Ensure smooth sampling – according to ALPLA rules – of new moulds
  • Perform proper change management.
  • Contribute to best machine/production equipment set up to maximise performance / TEEP1

LEAD PRODUCTION TEAM / YOUR AREA

  • Quality and (food) safety mindset
  • Ensure safety, food safety and quality mindset as well as 5S
  • Train staff and develop people
  • Performance management & communication
  • Act as a member of the plant management team

What makes you great

  • Bachelor/Master or Diploma degree with a clear affinity to operations
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in an international manufacturing company, preferably in plastic packaging
  • Proven track of Leadership experience
  • Deep understanding of cost calculation and performance metrics
  • Professionalism and dedication to excellence in customer care
  • Ability to work independently and with tight deadlines
  • Willingness to work in a challenging environment
  • Proficiency in English; other languages are of advantage
