Responsibilities:

• Ensure that planned production targets are achieved according to specifications.
• Monitor production efficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Plan and oversee routine maintenance for optimal effectiveness.
• Ensure the laboratory provides an effective quality control service to production.
• Ensure that production and safety standards comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Manage the performance of subordinates and production teams effectively.
• Ensure compliance with ISO and Quality Management Systems.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 with a diploma pass.
• Diploma in Production Management.
• At least 5 years of practical experience in an industrial process plant.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in leading a team of operators and/or laborers.
• At least 2 years’ experience in safety management and quality control systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and isiZulu.
