Production Planner needed at Novus Holdings Ltd

Key Duties and Responsibilities    

• Responsible for efficient workflow planning and throughput to enable meeting deadlines and set targets.
• Ensure quality monitoring, control systems, measurements and procedures are in place and adhered to.
• Ensure effective and efficient utilization of machinery to ensure high productivity, minimum downtime and proper management thereof.
• Capture the production plan on MIS production system.
• Prepare management reports.
• Communicate production plans with staff in daily production meetings.
• Update production plan after hours if clients’ make changes.

Educational Requirements    

• Grade 12 Certificate or equavalent.
• Production Management qualification would be advantageous

Experience Requirements    

• 3-5 years production planning experience in a printing environment
• Knowledge of all aspects of print production flow and different printing papers would be advantageous

Skills and Competencies    

• Knowledge of press production layouts.
• Computer literate and have strong administrative skills.
• Ability to plan and organize under stressful working conditions.
• Exceptional aptitude for problem solving.
• Must be able to think technically or be technically inclined.
• Able to function independently as well as part of a team.
• Sound communication skills
