Production Supervisor needed at AECI Limited

Required outputs: functiomal

• Responsible for ensuring that the daily production targets are achieved.
• Check in advance scheduled production, the availability of raw materials and packaging material.
• Ensure that works instructions and standard operating procedures are strictly adhered to. Any modifications must be reported to the production Manager.
• Monitor production output and raw material usages.
• Ensure that packing machines are used effectively to achieve daily targets.
• Responsible for ensuring that good housekeeping standards are maintained in areas of responsibility.
• Minimise wastage of product and packaging materials.
• Ensure that clocking time data for subordinates under the incumbent’s control are timeously and accurately completed and submitted to the Human Capital Coordinator.

Qualifications & Experience

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Minimum of 5 years in a chemical manufacturing plant or similar operation is advantageous
• Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience is essential.
• Process Safety Management (PSM) experience essential.
• Valid Driver’s Licence (Code 8) will be advantageous
