Professional Architectural Draughtsperson Job at The South African College of Applied Psychology

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural drawings and construction documentation using ArchiCAD (BIM) Assist with design development, council submissions, and working drawings
• Ensure compliance with National Building Regulations (NBR) and SANS standards Coordinate drawings with structural, electrical, and mechanical consultants Develop accurate schedules, details, and specifications
• Maintain SACAP logbook in accordance with SACAP MRT requirements Minimum Requirements SACAP-accredited qualification at NQF Level 5 or 6 Registered with SACAP as a Candidate Professional Architectural Draughtsperson Proficiency in ArchiCAD (essential)
• Knowledge of South African building regulations and council processes Strong technical, organisational, and communication skills Personal Attributes Detail-oriented and technically strong Reliable, self-motivated, and eager to learn Able to work well in a team and meet deadlines Professional and ethical approach to work
