Professional Engineering Technologist

• TASK Grade 14 (R659 712 – R917 184 per annum)
• (Basic salary only, excluding benefits)

Qualifications and experience required:

• Three to five years’ or more relevant experience.
• A relevant B.Eng. or B.Sc. (Eng.) Engineering degree.
• Eligibility for registration as PR Eng.  
• Computer literacy: MS Office.
• A valid Code EB driver’s licence.

Job purpose:

• Controlling the professional and technical processes associated with the provision of an engineering service to internal/external clients through the provision of guidance and advice on the formulation of proposals and design concepts, and contract and project management of average complexity or complex forms of broadly defined engineering works with high impact in order to ensure objectives and established outcomes are accomplished in accordance with the agreed terms, specifications, costs and standards of quality.
• As part of the selection process, candidates may be tested on any requirement, skill or competency, which will include pre-employment screening, medical examination, security vetting and psychometric assessment.
