Professional Officer – Facilities Management – Maintenance Planning Job at City of Cape Town

Requirements

• BEng or BSc Engineering Qualification
• Registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa a Candidate Engineer
• Minimum of 3 - 5 Years relevant experience
• Computer Proficiency
• Valid Code 08 Drivers Licence

Key Performance Areas

• To coordinate, manage, monitor and evaluate multiple projects of various levels of risk and complexity within the Infrastructure Planning Branch of FM
• Monitoring and Reporting (PM&R). Which include Portfolio Project Management, Maintenance Plans, Asset Management Plans, Leased Out Improved Property Portfolio Maintenance and Space Audit Plans, Compliance Projects and Problem Buildings.
• Ensure that projects are properly planned, established, managed and successfully completed
• Develop business, process, procedures, guidelines and standards to ensure quality workmanship.
• Obtain Source Information and collate statistics, dashboard, templates and reports
• Sourcing information and statistics from various projects, programmes and initiatives Buildings.
• Undertake Visual Assessments of City-Owned facilities
