Requirements:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Up to 5 years’ relevant experience in a marketing and communications environment.
  • Highly PC proficient.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • A valid driver’s licence.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Plan, develop, and implement all marketing strategies, communication, and public relations activities, both internal and external, for the Health Services department.
  • Formulate and implement policies and procedures with Line and Specialised Health Management to ensure a positive image of the department using appropriate marketing tools.
  • Develop, provide, and coordinate marketing initiatives and promotional materials, building awareness and goodwill between the department, facilities, the public, and internal departments.
  • Ensure effective liaison with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring information related to the department’s programmes, events, and services is available to the public.
  • Manage and control the financial functions of the department’s marketing projects and activities.
  • Ensure efficient and effective administration and reporting related to the role.
