Duties/Pligte
- Organising and managing the annual graduate recruitment programme, particularly the annual career fairs.
- Managing contract staff during the graduate recruitment programme.
- Advising employers on the best way forward to address their needs and deciding on a recruitment strategy.
- Publishing the annual graduate recruitment programme.
- Co-managing the third money stream income of the UGCS.
- Managing communication and marketing of career opportunities to students via mailshots with job opportunities and career resources to targeted student groups.
- Assisting with recruiting representatives for panel discussions and networking events such as Career Khulumas.
- Collaborating with student bodies, faculties, and departments to promote UGCS networking services.
- Collaborating with faculties and academic departments to arrange World of Work events/presentations.
Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes
- Bachelor’s degree/advanced diploma in Industrial Psychology, Recruitment, Human Resources Management, or a related field.
- At least three years’ relevant experience in graduate recruitment or HE career services.
- A strong understanding of recruitment and selection processes.
- Proficiency in social media and marketing.
- At least three years’ experience in organising exhibition/career network events.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and another official South African language (bilingual proficiency preferred).
- Strong computer literacy and information management skills.
- Organisational, presentation, and conflict management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and professionalism.
- Good project management skills
- Computer skills in the MS-Office environment.
