Project Coordinator Youth and After School Programme Office (3 Year Contract Position), Ref No. CAS 45/2025 needed at Western Cape Government

Job Purpose    

• The Department of Cultural Affairs, Western Cape Government has an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to manage and coordinate various WCG transversal Youth-Service and After Schoot Programme Sector projects, stakeholders/partnerships and processes to influence youth employment and learner outcomes. 

Minimum Requirements    

• An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification)
• A minimum of 3 years middle management level experience.

Key Performance Areas    

• Manage and coordinate projects and partnerships in the Youth Service and After School Programme Sector; Build and review policy in the Youth Service and After School Programme sector
• Build the capacity of the Youth Service and After School Programme sector; Plan and manage the work of and account for the overall performance of the component; People management
• Financial Management; It will be advantageous to have a qualification at NQF level 7 or 8 as recognised by SAQA in Social Science or related field.
