Project Manager needed at Datacentrix

• Datacentrix is seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Manager to manage and deliver IT projects and technical activities. This role combines hands-on project management responsibilities with back-office administration, ensuring projects are executed efficiently while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of managing end-to-end project delivery.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Matric (Grade 12) and a tertiary qualification in Project Management or equivalent
• Project Management certifications such as PMBOK, PMP, Prince2, CAPM, or Agile/Scrum advantageous
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT project management or technical support management
• Proven experience implementing and delivering IT projects successfully
• Strong understanding of project management processes, methodologies, and documentation
• Proficient with end-user computer skills and MS Office suite
• Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and ability to self-initiate

Responsibilities:

• Manage and deliver IT projects and technical activities from initiation to completion
• Oversee project registration, updates, invoicing, and back-office administration
• Ensure projects meet agreed timelines, budget, and quality standards
• Maintain strong customer relationships and manage stakeholder expectations
• Adhere to Enterprise Services methodology including Time-Track, daily updates, and project documentation
• Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and provide regular reporting
• Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
• Work independently and proactively to deliver on objectives
