Job Description

  • We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to join our dynamic team at Hunt Lascaris Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in managing creative projects within an agency environment.
  • This role requires exceptional planning, communication, and collaboration skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest creative standards.

Requirements
Project Management           50%

  • Effective resource management to meet team/clients demands.
  • Planning and scheduling of projects within time and budget constraints.
  • Manage projects to a high standard that reflects the creative output of the Lead Employer.
  • To manage all administration (estimates, timing plans ect) and attend/arrange all project meetings/briefings as required.
  • Communicate project status/potential problems without solutions to teams in a timely manner.
  • Anticipate and be proactive in facilitating the smooth flow of projects through the agency to meet the teams/client’s expectations.
  • Take ownership of projects ‘from cradle to grave’

  Client Service         15%

  • Work closely with relevant account and creative teams, ensuring effective communication and management of teams’ expectations.
  • Work with account teams to understand the client’s brand and manage projects in a way that will support the delivery of the brand.
  • Ensure all members of the team follow the correct procedures/agency processes and communicate any changes to/breaches of them.
  • Actively encourage and facilitate collaboration within the team and other departments within the agency.

Business Management        10%

  • To drive all daily business activity toward the achievement of account profitability.
  • Ensure financial administration is of high standard and dealt with on time.
  • Maintain tight control of project budgets and deadlines, communicate issues immediately to team.
  • Prioritisation of workload to ensure teams demands are met and managed.

People              15%

  • Build relationships with and between the team to aid efficient communication and collaboration.
  • To develop skills and knowledge within yourself through on the job development, active participation in the agency and department.
  • Provide feedback to Creative Director regarding improvements that could be made to the department and agency.
  • Create clear development plans for yourself and set out to achieve your goals.
     

 Collaboration         10%

  • Has actively supported and involved team members at the appropriate time to resolve issues,
  • Has encouraged all members to look for collaborative ways to make the Lead Employer a great place to work.

 Requirements:

  • 3-5 Years Experience in Project Management
  • Must have a degree in Project Management or equivalent degree.
  • Resource Planning.
