- Raw Material Evaluation: Assess the quality of incoming and on-site raw materials according to specifications.
- In-Process Bulk Analysis: Evaluate the quality of in-process bulks, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Finished Product Testing: Conduct quality checks on finished products to meet stringent specifications.
- Timely Release: Test and release materials efficiently to meet production needs and planning schedules.
- Quality Assurance: Adhere to quality policies and non-conformance procedures, keeping validations up-to-date.
- Regulatory Compliance: Understand and follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and relevant regulations.
- Documentation: Ensure all documentation and results are traceable.
- Laboratory Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized lab environment using 5S principles.
- Hygiene Validations: Assist with hygiene-related validations and projects.
- Special Projects: Contribute to laboratory-specific projects as directed by the Laboratory Manager.
- Microbiological Testing: Conduct microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process bulks, and finished products.

Are you a meticulous and results-oriented individual with a passion for quality assurance? Do you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing setting where precision and efficiency are paramount? If so, we want you on our team! Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues with materials, instruments, or reagents and follow non-conformance procedures.
- Planning & Organization: Ability to plan daily and monthly testing schedules efficiently, prioritizing production needs.
- Decision Making: Confidence to make critical decisions regarding the release or rejection of materials based on analysis results.
- Personal Competencies: Detail-oriented, methodical, able to handle pressure, results-driven, strong numerical skills, team player, optimistic, self-motivated, computer literate, excellent interpersonal skills, and adaptable.
Education and Experience Required:
- Minimum 3 years of working experience.
- Experience in an industrial production environment (FMCG preferred).
- BSc or National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry or equivalent.
- Competency in microbiological testing methods is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office is advantageous.
- Experience with analytical instrumentation is advantageous.
- Packaging knowledge or experience is advantageous.
