• We are looking for a qualified motor technician to join our team at our Mercedes-Benz dealership in Somerset West. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing vehicles and vehicle systems across the manufacturer range.

Minimum Requirements

• Proof of Qualification as Technician (Red Seal/Trade Test Certificate)
• Proven 3 years working experience as qualified Technician (Mercedes-Benz expereinec advantageous)
• Min Grade 12
• Unendorsed Drivers Licence
• Computer Literate
• Successful demonstration of competency
• Analytical skills and problem-solving ability
• Attention to detail and time management skills
• Solid knowledge of fault finding and diagnostic machines
• Excellent customer orientation

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conducting work preparation and fault diagnosis
• Perform repairs and maintenance of vehicles
• Conduct final inspections and functional tests
• Prepare relevant reports for vehicle hand-over
• Ensure quality standards are met in order to achieve the Standards of Excellence
