Quality Controller (Centurion) needed at MAN Automotive Ltd

Description

• Manage and drive productivity and efficiency to achieve set targets.
• Ensure minimization reworks through continuous improvement of quality of workmanship.
• Ensure sold hours target is reached.
• Conduct adhoc inspection and consolidate reports.
• Manage Reports from Department Of Transport.
• Ensure training and supervision of staff in the workshop.
• Ensure that health, safety and environmental procedures are adhered to at all times.
• Ensure that the teams understand the SCP Drive WIP daily.
• Manage accident scene & consolidate reports.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• N3 with a trade test certificate as an Auto Electrician/Diesel Mechanic.
• Grade: 12 Matric Certificate.

Skills:

• Good communication (oral and written) & interpersonal relations skills.
• Customer focused with a results driven approach.
• Pro-active, highly motivated in achieving set objective.
• Work independently though being a team player.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in driving positive and sustained change.
• Computer Literate.

Experience:

• Experience in the heavy commercial vehicles industry – 5 years.
