Description

• Quality control involves testing units and determining if they are within the specifications for the final product. The purpose of the testing is to determine any need for corrective actions in the manufacturing process. Good quality control helps companies meet consumer demands for better products.

Duties:

• Monitoring operations to ensure that they meet production standards
• Recommending adjustments to the assembly or production process
• Inspecting, testing, or measuring materials or products being produced
• Measuring products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers
• Operating electronic inspection equipment
• Accepting or rejecting finished items
• Removing all products and materials that fail to meet specifications
• Reporting inspection and testing data such as weights, temperatures, grades, moisture content, and quantities inspected
• Resolving quality-related issues and adhering to deadlines
• Recommend improvement measures to the production process to ensure quality control standards are met
• Monitor customer satisfaction levels

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
• Good math and technical skills.
• Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
• Create tests for quality control of products
• Strong regard for quality assurance according to company standards
• Good knowledge about industry products and processes
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
