Quality Operator needed at Belgotex Floors

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Inspection & Grading – Inspect final products at roll stations/tables, ensuring correct grading using the D365 system and identifying common defects like knife lines, missing tufts, poor mending, and streaks.
• Material Repair & Cutting – Repair material defects and cut products to the required length or according to seaming plans to meet customer requirements.
• Rolling & Packaging – Monitor roll widths, handle splitting and trimming, re-roll inspected products, load cores and core bungs, staple carpets, and wrap products correctly.
• Waste Management & Housekeeping – Remove waste materials, ensure cleanliness in the inspection area, recycle cores, and maintain good housekeeping practices.
• Communication & Compliance – Escalate machine issues or product irregularities, follow company regulations, adhere to safety requirements, and carry out any reasonable instructions from supervisors.

Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Must have completed the CTFL Learnership
• Proficient in MS Office applications  
• Good Communication skills  
• Must have good product knowledge and grading experience.  
• 1-year machine operating experience in Quality Re- Inspection is advantageous  
• Experience in repairing material.  
• Attention to detail.
