Requirements :
- Appropriate qualification that allows registration with the HPCSA as a Radiation Oncology Radiographer. Registration with the HPCSA in Radiation Oncology Radiography. 4 (Four) appropriate years of experience after registration with the HPCSA as a Diagnostic Radiographer.
Duties :
- Undertakes all basic radiation planning and treatment preparation. Treats all patients according to departmental protocols based on local and international research. Participates in academic activities.
- Responsible for localization planning and accurate delivery of radiation treatment to patients’ with neo-plasms. Provides physical and emotional support of patients. Conducts Daily and weekly quality assurance. Performs administrative duties. Assist students during clinical work to develop radiography skills.
