Introduction

• To provide a professional reporting and accounting support service according to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Eskom policies, procedures and applicable legislation, in support of sound financial control and discipline

Job description

• Manage general ledger (GL) account management and tax compliance
• Facilitate and maintain controls
• Prepare and complete financial accounting, management, reporting packs and schedules
• Prepare and compile tax, related party and inter-company schedules
• Maintain stakeholder management
• Control financial system access, workflow and delegation of information access
• Manage month end periodic processing
• Mentor and coach employees

Minimum requirements
Minimum Requirements

Qualification(s): 

• B Degree/B Tech/National Higher Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Finance/Accounting/Economics at NQF7 with 360 credits

Related Minimum Experience:

• Experience in financial reporting, accounting, taxation, internal control and financial management
• 5 Years
