- Carry out scheduled and preventative maintenance and repairs as per OEM requirements.
- Systematic and efficiently troubleshoot and diagnose machine systems problems and carry out
- repairs on earthmoving equipment on customer sites.
- Compile accurate customer machine reports that include failure analysis, condition, service,
- Machine Inspection Reports (MIR’s) and Technical Analysis reports (TA’s).
- Maintain professional image when representing BWE.
- Work on specific customer sites as per customer requirements when required.
- Ensure complying to safe work practices when working on machines.
- Maintain and control Contamination Control Standards.
- Responsible and Control of own admin (labour booking, service reports, part returns, etc.
- Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of own work are consistently and
- accurately maintained (ISO standards)

Qualification, Experience and Competencies
- Qualified in relevant trade (e.g. Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic) NQF 3
- Machine specific technical knowledge and skills
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic technical report writing
- Basic business and financial understanding
- Some Computer Literacy (SIS, STW & ET) knowledge
- Basic trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
