Regional Compliance Manager (Centurion) needed at AFGRI Equipment

Description

• We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Regional Compliance Manager to oversee and strengthen our compliance framework across the region.
• The successful candidate will ensure that all operations adhere to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards while promoting a strong culture of integrity.

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12
• Bachelor’s degree (Legal or Accounting) or equivalent qualification
• Completed SAICA Articles
• 4 years’ finance/auditing experience
• Strong understanding of compliance, internal controls, and financial governance principles.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and travel when required.

• Risk Monitoring
• Monitor compliance with regional and national regulatory requirements.
• Conduct audits, investigations, and compliance risk assessments.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and staff training programs.
• Provide expert guidance to management and regional teams on compliance-related matters.
• Prepare accurate compliance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Liaise with regulators and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
• Identify emerging risks and recommend proactive solutions.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/COMPETENCIES

• Knowledge of derivative securities, agricultural derivatives, and foreign commodity derivatives
• Solid experience and understanding of anti-money laundering are essential 
• Knowledge of best practices/trends within the regulatory and compliance framework
• Knowledge of relevant legislation
• Drafting skills
• Excellent Computer skills
