Main objectives: 

  • Promote profitability by driving increased sales and market share whilst maintaining acceptable margins and controllable costs/expenses in line with set annual budgets and targets.
  • Enable  effective resource application and development with deliberate performance management and behavioural standards (PG Values) that will result in an effective, capable, motivated and engaged workforce.
  • Drive exceptional customer experience, by creating a culture of professional, high quality, low effort, “right first time” workmanship and customer service in order to satisfy all customer glass needs.
  • Monitor and control compliance to best admin practice and corporate requirements as it relates to operational, finance and people administration.  
  • Ensure effective stock management through regular stock checks, ITS/PPV/stock adjustments and accurate ordering in order to mitigate business risk.
  • Maintain brand standards and ensure maintenance of all assets and infrastructure with focus on housekeeping.
  • Ensure adherence and compliance to Health and Safety and associated standards and requirements.

Critical job requirements: 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor Degree in Sales and Operations/ Business Management

Knowledge

  • Relevant Legislation
  • Knowledge of technical, administration and fitment centre control procedures

Skills: 

  • MS Office (Advanced)
  • Communication (verbal and written)
  • SAP
  • Change managenment (change angent)
  • Financial and Commercial management
  • Data analysis (analyse performance and assess business performance and improvements)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Planning and organising
  • Conflict management 

Experience: 

  • 10 years in a relevant retail service operation (tyres, exhausts, tracking systems)
  • 5 years of total functional experience must have been in a Management role
  • Strong technical, administration and fitment centre control procedures
  • Excellent financial and commercial management  – able to demonstrate significant performance in results and targets
