Job Description

  • Our client in the Banking Industry is looking for a Release Train Engineer to join their team! This is a 12-month contract with the option to renew for an additional 12 months.
  • This is an excellent opportunity for someone with Agile experience who is ready to step into or grow within the RTE role. You will help coordinate Agile Release Train activities, support planning and delivery, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of program increments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in facilitating ART events such as PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and System Demos.
  • Support teams in identifying and managing dependencies and impediments.
  • Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement within the teams.
  • Communicate progress and risks to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with Product Management and Scrum Masters to align priorities and execution.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in an Agile delivery environment.
  • Exposure to or working knowledge of SAFe or similar scaled Agile frameworks.
  • Strong facilitation and coordination skills.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience in banking or financial services is a plus.

Nice to Have:

  • SAFe RTE, SAFe Agilist, or Certified ScrumMaster certification.
  • Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Rally, or similar.
