Job Description
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect, analyse, and interpret reward data (e.g., salaries, bonuses, benefits utilization).
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate reward program effectiveness and trends.
- Identify and analyse market data to benchmark our compensation and benefits against industry standards.
Market Research and Benchmarking:
- Conduct research to stay up-to-date on compensation and benefits trends in relevant markets.
- Analyse competitor reward programs and identify best practices.
- Prepare salary data for external service providers
- Support in external data provider discussions and relationship building.
Reward Program Administration:
- Assist with the administration of existing reward programmes (e.g. annual increase process calculations, STI/LTI calculations).
- Support in the creation of reward programme communications.
Compliance:
- Stay informed of relevant reward and benefits legislation and regulations in different Southern Africa countries.
- Ensure reward programmes comply with all applicable laws and regulations e.g. prepare salary data for EE submission, COIDA submission to Department of Labour and annual BBBEE verification audits.
- Identify and escalate potential compliance risks.
Competency
- Demonstrable experience in working with senior management teams.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint).
- Highly proficient in Excel, including complex calculations, pivot tables and other collation techniques to manage and analyse data.
- Understanding of data privacy and POPIA requirements when handling large, sensitive and complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- A high level of attention to detail and the ability to deliver results within the agreed timescales, working accurately under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic and a proactive approach.
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Relevant Degree in Human Resources, Commerce or any applicable qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years’ Experience in a Reward Analytics
- Good analytical skills
- Advanced excel knowledge
- Global Remuneration Professional (GBR) Certificate
