Responsibilities

  • Provides Repair Technician support and product repair for assigned mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies.
  • Identifies, isolates and corrects malfunctions on assigned products through the practical application of acquired technologies and skills.
  • Disassembles, cleans and reassembles assigned products in conjunction with refurbishment activities.
  • Generates and maintains required test reports, logs, documentation and test equipment.
  • Reports recurring quality problems to appropriate individuals or groups.
  • Enhances working knowledge of the total product line and associated test diagnostics and procedures.
  • Uses precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers and bore gauges to measure component parts and assist with repair, refurbishment and related activity.
  • Gain understanding of various DN KPIs to ensure that the business interests are taken care of as a team.
  • Participates in stock counts during the year to ensure spare part inventory accuracy within the Repair Centre.
  • Will be required to participate in the general neatness and cleanliness actions within the warehouse to ensure safety is of a high standard.

Qualifications

  • Education or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Repair Technician.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with mechanical/electro-mechanical assembly.
  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
