Residence Warden Job at University of Venda

Job Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Science or a relevant field with three (3) years’ relevant experience, or
• A National Diploma with four (4) years’ relevant experience.
• Experience working in a tertiary institution or as a community service worker will be an added advantage.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Demonstrated proficiency in facilitation, computer skills, counselling, leadership, management, interpersonal communication, planning and organisation, project management, critical thinking, negotiation, and advocacy.

Duties:

• Provide a safe, comfortable, and engaging residential experience for students residing on campus through effective oversight of residence administration.
• Manage and coordinate residential life programmes that promote student development and well-being.
• Train, supervise, and provide guidance to House Residence Committee (HRC) student representatives.
