Retirement Village Operations Manager: Bloemfontein Job at FS Personnel Recruitment

Salary:

• R30 000–R35 000 ctc pm, based on experience.

Working hours:

• 40 hours per week, and one weekend per month available via telephone.

• Proven management and administrative experience.
• Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in staff management, operational oversight and stakeholder relations.
• Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Sound financial management and budgeting skills.
• The ability to work independently, manage multiple responsibilities and make sound decisions.
• A professional, compassionate and practical approach to managing a resident-focused environment.
• Must be able to work on-site in Bloemfontein (No accommodation is available on site)
• Fluently in English and Afrikaans

Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Oversee the overall operations, administration and service delivery of the facility.
• Manage staff, service departments, contractors and external service providers.
• Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, policies and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee financial administration, budgeting, reporting and cost control.
• Manage resident admissions, accommodation enquiries, complaints and family relations.
• Oversee building maintenance, facilities, equipment, security and safety.
• Coordinate management meetings and report to the Board of Management.
• Drive marketing, fundraising, community engagement and financial sustainability.
• Coordinate administrative processes relating to the planned new development.
• Ensure residents’ rights, dignity, safety and well-being are protected.
