Job Description:
- Rigging studies and risk assessments of all complicated lifts.
- Supervise rigging team.
- Manage all rigging and crane activities onsite.
- Clearly define scope of work.
- Following the planning and ensuring that equipment is in good working condition and ensuring correct equipment is used for the correct jobs.
- Ensuring personal and team workplace practices are safe, efficient and maintain a high safety standard throughout all work practices.
- Inspecting rigging equipment for any defects before use.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12/Technical Trade Specific N3
- Rigger Trade Certificate
- Crane Inspection Training
- AAP SIMM inspectors course (advantageous)
- Advance Scaffolding Erection (advantageous)
- Advanced Scaffolding Inspection (advantageous)
