Key Responsibilities:
- Risk Identification and Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential threats to the organization. Analyse data and trends to detect vulnerabilities.
- Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies. Collaborate with department heads, UK clients, and the risk and compliance team to ensure risk management policies are adhered to.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and international best practices. Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on risk assessments and mitigation plans. Present findings to senior management and the Head of Risk and Compliance, recommending actions.
- Training and Awareness: Conduct training sessions for staff on risk management practices. Promote a culture of risk awareness throughout the organization.
- Incident Management: Investigate and manage incidents related to risk. Develop action plans to address and resolve issues promptly.
- Client Interaction: Work closely with UK clients to understand their risk management needs and provide tailored solutions. Maintain strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the wider risk and compliance team to ensure a cohesive approach to risk management. Share insights and best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitor and improve risk management processes. Implement new tools and techniques to enhance risk management capabilities.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management, preferably within a BPO environment.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment techniques, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in risk management software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
- Master’s degree in Risk Management or related field.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM) or similar.
- Experience with business continuity planning and disaster recovery.
- Experience of working with UK financial clients.
