About the Role
This internship provides exposure to corporate risk and security management within a national e-commerce framework. Utilizing ServiceNow for incident tracking and AWS for secure data storage, the intern supports the mitigation of operational risk across multiple sites. Their involvement in data-driven security audits ensures compliance with corporate governance and protects the integrity of the supply chain ecosystem.

Qualifications & Experience:
- N6 Certificate in Health & Safety, Environmental Studies, Risk Management, Forensic and Compliance

Key responsibilities:
- Support the development of risk registers and maintain risk databases
- Perform basic impact assessments for identified risks
- Support daily security operations including access management and incident monitoring
- Assist with vendor security assessments and due diligence processes
- Maintain incident logs and contribute to post-incident reviews
- Help prepare compliance reports and documentation
- Create and update security policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Develop risk communication materials for various stakeholders
- Participate in cross-functional risk and security committees
- Help facilitate risk workshops and training sessions
- Record incidents on the security management system
- Assist with claims investigations when required
Career Growth & Education
A degree in Risk Management, Business Continuity, or Security Science is preferred for this analytical role. Career progression leads toward Corporate Risk Manager or Compliance Officer roles, particularly for those who master digital fraud detection.
