Safety Advisor needed at Mondi Group

Your mission

• Health and safety audits
• Preparation and implementation of safe work procedures
• Ensure legal compliance 
• Implement and maintain health and safety systems
• Perform and co-ordinate risk assessments
• Conduct safety training
• Involvement in incident investigations and report writing 
• Monitor and co-ordinate BU lagging and leading safety indicators 
• Analyse trends and data and advise the business unit accordingly
• Co-ordinate the implementation of BU Top Risks and Roadmap
• Compile monthly reports and presentations. 
• Develop and implement safety campaigns as and when required by Group and/or Mill
• Your profile
• 5 -10 years in an Industrial safety related environment. Engineering or industrial process experience would be an advantage
• Matric and in possession of or studying (at least 2nd / 3rd year) towards National Diploma in Safety / Health Management or NEBOSH
• SAMTRAC 
• Risk assessments
• Incident investigation
• Implementation and auditing of ISO safety management systems
• Registered Safety Professional – SACPCM
• Valid driver’s license
