- Our client, an established construction and property development firm operating across Cape Town, is seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations across their construction sites.
- This role is critical to maintaining the highest safety standards and fostering a culture of zero harm across all project activities..
Requirements:
- National Diploma in Safety Management
- SACPCMP registered
- SAMTRAC (Safety Management Training Course)
- NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health)
- First Aid Level 2 or 3 certification
- Fire Fighting certification
- Incident Investigation certification
- ISO 45001 or OHSAS 18001 Lead Auditor
- 3-5 years of proven experience as a Safety Officer in construction environment
- Hands-on site-based safety management experience
- Experience across various construction project types
- Track record of maintaining safety compliance and reducing incidents
- Valid driver’s license
