Safetycloud Compliance Learner, Midrand needed at SafetySA

Job Purpose

• To provide support to the Group HSE Compliance Officer and the wider Compliance department. The role focuses primarily on Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) compliance activities, monitoring, and administration, while also assisting with POPIA, Corporate Governance, and general compliance tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Primary HSE Focus:

• Provide day-to-day support to the Group HSE Compliance Officer.
• Assist with HSE compliance monitoring, documentation, and reporting.
• Maintain HSE records, registers, and audit files.
• Support training compliance and monitoring across business units.
• Assist with incident investigations and reporting.
• Follow up on corrective actions and support improvement initiatives.

Secondary Compliance Support:

• Assist with POPIA compliance tasks and records management.
• Support Corporate Governance documentation and administration.
• Maintain compliance files, reports, and dashboards.
• Assist with general administrative and project-related tasks within the Compliance team.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:

• Current student or recent graduate in HSE, Compliance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

• Previous exposure to compliance or administrative work (advantageous).

Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially MS Teams).
• Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Bonus Points:

• HSE, Risk, or Compliance qualification.
