About the job

  • The suitable candidate will report to the Salary Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Administration and reconciliation of the salary roll for various companies on Sage 300;
  • Daily telephonic job confirmation;
  • Annual Compensation Commissioner filings and administration;
  • Processing of weekly, 2-weekly and monthly Mibco Provident Fund administration on the Mibco Portal;
  • Follow-up and administration of supporting documentation for all employment and reasons for termination (including funeral claims and spouse insurance claims);
  • Monthly administration and processing of long-service and retirement gifts;
  • Handling electronic applications for tax numbers;
  • Continuous leave approvals on ESS (SAGE 300);
  • Ongoing ESS claims approvals (travel claims, mobile phone claims, toll hex slips, Nedfleet claims); And
  • Setting up UI19s and salary schedules for each reason for retirement.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 qualification will serve as a requirement;
  • Sage 300 qualification and experience will serve as a requirement ;
  • Mibco experience will be beneficial;
  • Experience in filing Compensation Commissioner reports will be beneficial;
  • Knowledge of Basic Legislation (BCEA);
  • Computer savvy and knowledge of the MS Office package;
  • MUST be able to function under high pressure; And
  • Excellent communication skills as well as good human relations.
