- Under the direct supervision of the Regional Sales Leader MEAT, this position is responsible for driving the sales growth strategy in IAM & OES Aftermarket Channel in assigned countries in Africa. The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding the company’s market presence. This role combines strategic Business development with hands-on sales execution to achieve targets and deliver sustainable growth via expanding customer base, implement market strategies for Product Lines, managing all customer programs that revolve around pricing, revenue growth, profitability, placement and customer satisfaction. This role can be based in Morocco/France/South Africa.
What you’ll do:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets and maintain a strong prospect pipeline through networking, referrals, and market research.
- Conduct market analysis to monitor trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, and contribute to pricing and commercial terms development.
- Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives and lead customer strategy for annual profit and five-year plans.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive proposals and presentations to prospective clients, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Serve as or lead cross-functional customer interface teams to ensure responsiveness and high customer satisfaction.
- Ensure customer requirements are addressed and communicated, including inquiries, contracts, orders, and amendments.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams for seamless solution delivery and provide feedback on market trends and customer needs.
- Track and report sales performance metrics, prepare forecasts and business development reports, and evaluate customer performance for senior management.
- Deploy the Customer Relationship Review (CRR) process and assist in developing action plans to improve customer satisfaction performance.
Qualifications:
- BS/MS degree in Engineering, Business or other approved discipline;
- Fluent French, English and Arabic is key plus;
- 5 years of sales experience in Aftermarket Automotive industry dealing with Africa market is key.
