The successful Sales Manager will be responsible for the following but not limited to:

 

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
  • Analyse market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
  • Identify potential clients, establish new business relationships, and nurture existing ones.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand the Company’s presence.
  • Monitor sales metrics and analyse data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, achievements, and forecasts.
  • Implement sales strategies and tactics to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Address customer concerns, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Sales Manager candidate will fit the following profile:

 

  • Proven experience in a similar sales role
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Fully conversant in the English language, additional languages will be an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication.
  • Computer Literacy – Intermediate to Advanced on Microsoft Packages
  • Ability to travel nationally as and when required
  • The candidate will be based in Gauteng
