Position Overview:

  • The Sales Manager will lead a team of Sales Managers, driving revenue growth and operational excellence while fostering a customer-centric culture. Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Team Managers to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Conduct regular coaching, performance reviews, and feedback sessions to ensure team development.

Strategic Sales Planning

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that align with organizational objectives and growth targets.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.

Operational Oversight

  • Ensure daily sales operations run efficiently, meeting response time standards and achieving productivity goals.
  • Provide guidance to Sales Team Managers on complex sales queries and escalated issues.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting
  • Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team.
  • Provide detailed and actionable insights based on team and individual performance data.

Innovation and Technology Integration

  • Drive the integration of innovative technologies and tools into the sales process to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and advancements to leverage new tools and techniques in sales practices.

Sales Training and Development

  • Design and implement training programs to enhance the skills of the sales team.
  • Promote continuous learning within the team, keeping them updated on best practices and Industry developments.

Customer Relations

  • Ensure high standards of customer communication, balancing professionalism with Pineapple’s relaxed and customer-friendly culture.
  • Handle escalated customer concerns, providing resolution when needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • RE5,Full Qualification , Generic Management
  • 4+ years in sales management, preferably within a financial institution, insurance company, or tech startup.
