KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct site visits, measurements and final quotes for existing and potential customers.
- Conduct estimations quality and quantity of material
- Represent and market company
- Increase sales and market share
- Manage debtors accounts
- Resolve customer queries effectively
- Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and potential customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products and services
- Develop clear and effective written proposals or quotations for current and potential customers
- Identify advantage and compare the organization’s products/services
- Supply management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
- Participate in and represent the company at trade shows and conventions
- Ensure housekeeping in work area
- Perform any work-related tasks as delegated by superior
REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric or x3 Completed Intercept courses equating to a total of 120 credits
- Brights Induction (service excellence)
- Qualification in Building trade advantageous
- 5 Years minimum experience in a similar role in the Hardware/ Building environment
- Excellent product and department knowledge
- Ability to handle pressure
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal &written)
- Ability to act with integrity
- Ability to moderate site
- Ability to use initiative
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Ability to do estimations and measurements
- Internal stock system knowledge
- Microsoft office (Internet, E-mails, Word & Excel)
