Sales Representative – Dairy Job at Mayfly Agri Ltd

• A multinational food hygiene company providing cleaning services and hygiene chemicals to food processing plants, abattoirs and farmers, is seeking a Sales Representative to expand its dairy product sales and foster relationships with dairy farmers in the northern regions.

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Must have a Bachelor’s/Diploma in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, or related field
• Previous experience in technical sales within the dairy industry
• Knowledge of dairy farming practices and animal health management is essential
• Experience working with dairy farm management systems such as Afimilk or Waikato is advantageous
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel within the region

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing strategies to expand the dairy product range in the Northern region.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with dairy farmers, providing technical advice and support.
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of products and services.
• Conducting market research to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
• Providing sales support and training to customers on product usage and benefits.
• Staying updated on industry trends and developments related to dairy farming and food and beverage production.
