Sales Representative needed at Pollock & Associates

• A well-established FMCG packaging solutions manufacturer is seeking an experienced External Sales Representative to grow and protect its customer base in Cape Town. This role suits a commercially astute sales professional who excels at relationship management while consistently securing new business across the Western Cape.
• You will manage a defined portfolio of existing customers, ensuring service excellence, account retention, and sustainable revenue growth. The role also requires proactively identifying and converting new business opportunities in FMCG manufacturing environments through regular client engagement and solution-based selling.
• This position demands a confident, well-organised individual who is comfortable engaging clients on-site, negotiating commercial terms, and resolving customer issues effectively.
• Success in the role requires strong administrative accuracy, market awareness, and close collaboration with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ external sales experience within FMCG or packaging-related manufacturing
• Strong understanding of packaging products and commercial applications
• Proven track record in key account management and new business development
• Experience working with Sage Evolution or a similar ERP system
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
• Self-driven, disciplined, and target-focused
