Experience required:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Salesforce development
- Proven experience in full cycle software development

- Experience with integrated packages such as Adobe Sign, DocuSign, CTI, and
- Marketing Tools
- Industry specialist knowledge in Telecommunications/Financial or related fields is a plus Background in CRM process design and implementation.
Responsibilities of role:
Development of client solutions:
- Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high-quality business solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- Customize and configure Salesforce to meet specific business needs using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (Aura and Lightning Web Components), and declarative tools.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, Platform Events, or other integration methods.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, propose solutions, and provide effort estimates.
- Perform code reviews, ensure code quality, and maintain high standards of development practices.
- Manage Salesforce data including data migration and data quality initiatives.
- Design and implement scalable solutions leveraging Salesforce best practices and industry standards.
- Lead technical discussions and mentor junior developers on Salesforce development best practices.
- Stay updated with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices to provide recommendations for system improvements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Commercial
- Supporting Pre-sales during development of new business with new or existing clients
- Support the production of proposals & working with wider teams to present proposals.
- Assist in the review of proposals during the pre-sales process to ensure proposal accuracy.
- Working with the commercial teams to ensure a smooth handover into Delivery processes.
- Ability to work with engagement leadership to ensure accurate and achievable resourcing planning.
General
- Maintain certification in selected salesforce products.
- Maintain and improve internal team skills, processes and ways of working.
- Help mentor and coach other colleagues.
- Participate in the PwC culture, practices and teams.
Desirable skill sets include:
- Salesforce Development Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with Apex,
- Visualforce, Lightning Components (Aura and Lightning Web Components), and
- Salesforce APIs.
- Integration Skills: Proven ability to integrate Salesforce with other systems using RESTful APIs, SOAP APIs, or middleware tools.
- Customization and Configuration: Strong understanding of Salesforce customization (custom objects, fields, validation rules, workflows, Process Builder) and configuration best practices.
- Data Management: Experience in data migration, data modeling, and management using tools such as Data Loader, Salesforce DX, or similar.
- Governance and Best Practices: Knowledge of Salesforce governor limits, code coverage requirements, and deployment methodologies (e.g., CI/CD).
- Security: Familiarity with Salesforce security model including profiles, permission sets, sharing settings, and field-level security.
