  • Leads innovation pipeline for their segment/brand in Africa, including Late-Phase Innovation Delivery and Stage-gate Approval,
  • Leads local EPDs and works with IMEX for BDIs.

Your responsibilities
In summary, you’ll:

  • Chart the course for brand strategic plan for the segment /brands in Africa , developing and realising innovative ideas that capture the imagination of our e-commerce audience.
  • Join forces with a variety of stakeholders, ensuring the seamless progression of new product development and enhanced product projects from their genesis to market introduction.
  • Craft and drive multi-faceted marketing campaigns to augment brand presence and catalyse sales within the segment.
  • Provide analysis of market data and insights, shaping brand direction and product initiatives that resonate with our consumer base.
  • Key partner for the ABD’s innovation agenda.

Key partner with IMEX teams for their segments/brands in Africa

  • Key partner with cross- functional teams to ensure delivery of Innovation on time and with desired quality
  • Oversee Late -Phase Innovation Delivery and Stage -Gate approbal for both products (NPD/EPD), Commercial )BDI) Innovation, ecom and sustainanility project a, as applicable.
  • Coordinate innovation incl,TP supply strategy, Clusterization principles (NPI Support)
  • Lead local EPD’s and Cpoordinate interntion to launch (ITL)-Sizing/Pricing, roll out existing SKU in new markets .
  • Collect Area Business & Consumer Insight along innovation perfomance to feedback into category strategy and iinovation (e.g market opportunity analysis , consumer reaserch)
  • Develop /Lead post – launch reviewes

The experience we’re looking for

  • Solid background in brand management, product innovation, or marketing, with a sector of Hygiene or comparable consumer goods categories.
  • Minimum Bachelo’s Degree in Business Management /Marketing with excellent record of accomplishment
  • Minimum of 5-8 years expirience in marketing skills developed in FMCG enviroment inclduding experience on the brand or the broader category,
  • Innovation Expireence : Demostrate outstanding skills in innovation development and delivery
  • Well-honed strategic thninking and decision making capabilities
  • A thorough grasp of consumer behavior, market trends, competative analysis and ability to leverage insights into brand development and activation strategies 
  • Strong skills in communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Demostrated createvity in brand strategy and the ability to drive innovation
  • Fluency in offline and online media touch points and the role they play in the consumer engagement funnel.
