Semi Skilled Diesel Mechanic needed at RCL Foods

Job Description    

• Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in a demanding environment and an opportunity to expand your knowledge? Sunbake Benoni is recruiting for a Semi Skilled Diesel Mechanic to join their operations to be based at the Bakery in Benoni (Gauteng). The successful incumbent will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a fleet of commercial vehicles and forklifts. Your minimum 3 years experience in Isuzu, Toyota or Nissan truck could secure.

Minimum Requirements    

• Grade 12
• Minimum 4 years expierence in servicing, maintaince and repairing of trucks, forklifts and other vehicles
• Proven experience in dealing with Isuzu, Nissan or Toyota vehicles could secure
• Ability to diagnose Isuzu electrical fault codes
• Valid Drivers licence 
• Valid PrDP
• Good written and verbal communication skills – including English
• Computer literate
• Attention to detail is essential
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work under pressur

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Assist Mechanics with service and maintenance of the vehicle fleet consisting of trucks, trailers, forklifts, mobile equipment etc.
• Assist with general repairs and breakdowns of fleet
• Minor auto electrical work
• Complete job cards timeously
• Provide assistance with vehicles at accident scenes if needed
• Perform standby duties
• Ensure Health and Safety protocols are followed at all times
